Charles Mingus Big Band is playing tonight, they were arranged by his widow, and I’m drowning in jazz - it is so great. They played a piece of his they suspect hasn’t been played in 50 years. I can’t photograph the band, but they’re really wonderful and in hoping if I’m lucky I can hop over to fat cats later for more incredible jazz. This city. Ah.
